Ceramic sculpture, series of 12, Found wood base, overall dimensions (including base) H27 W12 D24 cm

These are series of 12 works are inspired by Tribal Masks from West Bengal, India. I came across them in the collection of the Indian Museum, Kolkata. Although these mask inspired works appear to have different features, they arise from the same starting point. In this series, I have used found wood which was salvaged from the Bone Yard, at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford, London, hence their name, Bone Yard series.
